Sleets or snow?

At approximately 03:10:47 am (UK time) friday early morning, there were heavy sleets or perhaps snow pouring down from the sky at James Blyth Court (the place i stay). I missed the sighting of sleets a month back ( due to work commitment) and so this time round i just could not miss it again..

Actually, it was just pure coincidence that we saw heavy sleets/snow outside at 03:10:47 am.. We were having our break after another round of DOTA.. The Sentinel (my group) won and i was using lion that time..

Anyhow, we went outside to the cold to take a closer look of the sleets/snow and try to catch it and even tasting it.. It just melt on your palms around 15 seconds upon landing.. The taste of the sleets/snow was however the same as tasting blended ice... I was so tempted to taste the freezer's formed ice even though the ice was kinda brown in the freezer (for comparison sake) but decided not at the end...

So, a group of young lads and a kid (HS) went out to see the amazing and rare formation of sleets/snow at JBC.. Malaysians at JBC are easily amused by sleets/snow pouring down from the sky while Ang Mohs at JBC are totally bemused by Malaysians weird behaviour of jumping, shouting, eating and catching around sleets/snow... A total contrast of culture behaviour.. I am on the amused side... Amused side = katak di bawah tempurung side...

After some lengthy 2 paragraphs of crap, its time to view some pictures of yesterday's scene...

View from my room (the blue tank is a rubbish tank)

A closer shot of the sleets/snow
(orange circular objects are street lamps and not glowing sleets/snow)

Smaller sleets/snow (It's a street lamp and not a glowing sleet)

Fast moving sleets/snow under windy conditions

One last question...

Should i taste the freezer's ice for comparison sake? Leave a comment to help me make a decision.. Thanks..
