London Trip
I went to London from 23rd-26th for the Christmas festival.. It was a great trip...13 of us went to London... Went to Madame Tussauds on Day 1... I must say this is a must visit place.. This is the place where you can see most of the celebrities in their wax figure form.. Worth visiting.. Went to Chinatown later on for dinner.. ordered dishes that we cant eat in Glasgow.. We go to Chinatown to eat everyday... It does not matter whether it is breakfast, lunch or dinner.. just eat only.. Kinda crazy but well, we kinda deprived of chinese food for quite some time so we could not careless so we just eat it everyday..
Some great pictures taken at London..

This is the night view at River Thames... The blue lights (picture above) on the object is the London Eye and the bridge with red lightings is London bridge.. London bridge is not Tower bridge... Its two different bridge!

With Tower bridge behind (the famous one)

Went to London Eye on Day 2.. This Ferris wheel is gigantic! I think it is around 3-4 times the size of Manchester Eye.. It is really nice... It cost a whopping 15 pounds per round and the ride is only 30 minutes...

Yet another one..

A closer look at the Big Ben
I did watch Phantom of the Opera on Day 2 too.. For me, i think if you are in London and have the time, try watching a stage show performance.. Its really a fantastic experience.. Sometimes it might get boring... and i did doze off for like 30 seconds... There are many different kind of stage shows.. But i chose to watch the Phantom of Opera cause it is London's greatest love story according to their poster.. and i totally believe it 150%..
Phantom of Opera was not too bad.. If you really want to watch it... PLEASE go and read the storyline first before watching.. If you never read it, you will feel bored quickly cause you will never understand what are they acting.. Luckily i read before going to London.. If not, there goes my 25 pounds entrance ticket.. Money well spent..

Watched the Phantom of Opera (live)

Tower Bridge

At tower bridge

With St. Paul's Cathedral

Ain't this lovely?
We stayed at Hostel 639.... Sounds like some sort of betting company like Bet 365 that i always seen advertising on football websites..
I don't really like this hostel.. my rating for it is 4/10... the bed is bad, you can really feel the springs underneath it... the pillow was crap too... the room was small.. and the bathing room in every room was small and there was no lock for it...Crappy right?? You might be bathing half way and somebody can just open the door just like that.. Luckily the whole room was my own
friends.. But well, my friends might be crazy enough to just open the door and take a look at people's "you know what" .. Luckily, they are not that hamsap.. haha
To make matter worse.. the back of this hostel is a cemetery...East London crematorium.. I thought i could take some fresh air after peeing at the public loo.. and the thing i saw outside the window was a cemetery.. kinda eerie right? even some of my male mates scared to go toilet alone.. haha.. To me, it's alright...

Hostel 639... (Guess what is at the back of the building?)

A church nearby our hostel (Kensal Green)
On Day 4, we went to Buckingham Palace.. We manage to see the changing of guards... The crowd was big.. Luckily, i manage to squeeze with hs to the front gate for a better view...

The crowd at Victoria Memorial (buckingham palace)

Guards marching in from the gate

Lovely suits

Guards preparing to march

Band singing Christmas songs

The Uk flag on Buckingham Palace

Another view of Buckingham Palace
So after Buckingham palace, we went to Oxford street for our Boxing day shopping!! The crowd was crazy.. so many people... Anyhow, this experience was fun... manage to buy some stuff too.. After that, we quickly went to visit king cross station and trafalgar square.. And we did it at the end.. just nice.. cause we got to catch a bus back to stansted in the evening..

Kingcross railway station.. (looks like Hogwarts)

Trafalgar Square

With the national gallery at the back

Trafalgar Square
Overall, London is a nice place to visit.. the weather was alright.. not that cold compare to Glasgow.. Places to visit include Madame Tussauds, London Eye, Tower bridge and Big Ben..
A very nice trip with great friends around..
I give a rating of 8/10 for london..
The sad thing is that i could not visit stonehenge, go to Harrods and going to London Dungeon!!
Never go to Harrods cause it was close on Boxing day! What luck...
